Severo Satordi's shot from long distance in the 20th minute was not bad at all, but lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Claudio Luar knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Saturnino Claus hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Luisito Tono took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Claudio Luar to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Martinez having to interfere. In the 36th minute Teo Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teo Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Primitivo Galindo took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adan Martinez. Adan Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a rather tough play, ATLETICO MENDOZA's Angelino Ado got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Honorato Chorache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amancio Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Luar having to interfere. The supporters of ATLETICO MENDOZA booed when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Oier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Luar having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Bermudez during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Adan Martinez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 88 minutes ATLETICO MENDOZA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Honorato Chorache who took care of the corner kick. lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's Honorato Chorache was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adan Martinez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Adan Martinez stood somewhat misplaced when Teo Orlo came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 90 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Tono in the 95th minute of play forced lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano's goalkeeper Claudio Luar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
