The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Sanson helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Martin Palermo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Sanson. Flavio Brion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. Melquiades Salvatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Lope in the 67th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Martin Palermo F.C. had played much better football throughout.
