In the 8th minute, Ángel-Fabián Di María hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vladimír Bohuš hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Ángel-Fabián Di María got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Lionel Messi put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Václav Židek. Václav Židek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lionel Messi, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Lionel Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Scaloneta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in La Scaloneta's zone, Tomáš Petruš stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Bemabe came out of the goal and Tomáš Petruš tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 28th minute of the match Ángel-Fabián Di María completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ángel-Fabián Di María a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Ángel-Fabián Di María got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Ramon Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Václav Židek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Lizardi in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Václav Židek saved FC Kukova from getting behind. When Bruno Sidoro fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Scaloneta's protests and gave Bruno Sidoro a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sidoro. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Lionel Messi put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Václav Židek. FC Kukova's Václav Židek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel Messi in the 47th minute of play. Pavol Majer's late challenge caught a La Scaloneta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pavol Majer helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes FC Kukova got a freekick which was hit by Pavol Majer. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kukova's zone, Lionel Messi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Václav Židek came out of the goal and Lionel Messi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The FC Kukova players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Scaloneta were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomáš Petruš stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Atilano Ulizes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Václav Židek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lionel Messi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Václav Židek. That made the score 0-6 in the 57 minute of play. Václav Židek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Lizardi in the 64th minute of play. Ramon Lizardi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Václav Židek made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Lion Messi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Aurken. After 80 played minutes Lionel Messi rounded FC Kukova's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-7. When La Scaloneta's Lionel Messi in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Kukova's goalie prevented a goal. Václav Židek made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ramon Lizardi sent off a good shot on target. La Scaloneta's Atilano Ulizes got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Kukova getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ladislav Klačko hit a great ball. In the 95thth minute of the game Lionel Messi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kukova's Václav Židek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded La Scaloneta left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Kukova.
