After 28 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Cavia Pyskowice's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. But to his dismay, Daniel Pimentel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Stamen Tekeliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. When Wieslaw Ciborek fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Cavia Pyskowice's protests and gave Wieslaw Ciborek a yellow card for diving instead. Graciano Coutinho came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia could save by the left post. Miska Cavia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Miska Cavia made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miska Cavia in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Cavia Pyskowice fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
