Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Karsten Karlsen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 11 minutes into the match, Överås IK's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Eero Viks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eero Viks, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eero Viks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 13th minute of play. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Eero Viks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eero Viks breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eero Viks saved Överås IK from getting behind. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eero Viks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eero Viks came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Karlsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Karlsen in the 62nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eero Viks having to interfere. Eero Viks made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. 70 minutes into the match, Överås IK's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Eero Viks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Eero Viks managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Eero Viks in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eero Viks. That made the score 0-5 after 91 minutes of play. Karsten Karlsen hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Netherlands played a much better game than Överås IK and deserved their victory. The Överås IK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
