The audience thought a goal was coming when Amedeo Carlucci got free with Flavio Vittori in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everitt Obree made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kazimierz Wielkopolski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 24th play minutes Zaccheo Andolina shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Kazimierz Wielkopolski and just under the crossbar into goal. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of the match. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kazimierz Wielkopolski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Byron Shipman hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Amedeo Carlucci threw the ball into play from the sideline. Italy's Siricio Liotta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 53rd minute. Eliseo Cutri made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski managed to reach the ball for a save. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Miels, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Kazimierz Wielkopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Flying Hellfish's Kazimierz Wielkopolski got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Robustiano Nerio in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Howarth in the 76th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Howarth in the 76th minute of play. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 81st minute of play. In the 91st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Flying Hellfish throughout the match.
