Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anestis Tzougarakis got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, PAOK's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nasos Patakos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markos Bibis having to make a save. PAOK's Markos Bibis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Markos Bibis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, PAOK's Giorgos Tomaras made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 15 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nasos Patakos in the 17th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Bibis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anestis Tzougarakis struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK. In the 26th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Bibis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Frank Sachs made a precise shot to the right of Markos Bibis. PAOK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anestis Tzougarakis. 31 minutes into the game, Anestis Tzougarakis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. Anestis Tzougarakis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nasos Patakos in the 34th minute of the match. If Nasos Patakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markos Bibis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anestis Tzougarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Nasos Patakos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasos Patakos in the 43rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anestis Tzougarakis got free with Tommy Kahn in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Ilias Mitsias hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. Linus Schwerner was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 59 played minutes PAOK got a freekick which was hit by Markos Lazakis. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Markos Bibis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, one of PAOK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. PAOK's Stathis Kalokliros was substituted for Nasos Patakos. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Anestis Tzougarakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PAOK the free kick. The supporters of PAOK booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball.
