Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gurbax Gascon took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd match minute, San Pablo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marco Mussies to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Natalio Oliverio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Pablo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. The supporters of France booed when San Pablo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Oliverio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes in the game Jean Bombelles did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Robert Chapuis. In the 15th minute, Jeffrey Rainey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Gurbax Gascon kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. Jean Bombelles made in the 25th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Robert Chapuis however managed to control. Andy Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerardo Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes San Pablo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Lia. Andy Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Andy Hauser didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Camille Baume went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Gurbax Gascon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, San Pablo FC's Gurbax Gascon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 45th minute, San Pablo FC's Erasmo Egoitz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erasmo Egoitz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of San Pablo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erasmo Egoitz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to San Pablo FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erasmo Egoitz hit a great ball.
The wind increased when Frank Peletier made the kick off in the second half. Marco Mussies sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Oliverio's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Andy Hauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 54th minute of play. Andy Hauser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 57th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, David Barbier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Barbier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Oliverio in the 63rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Pablo FC's Marco Mussies got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denis Quintin in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of France's goalie and right to Gerardo Lia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. France's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Mussies in the 78th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Mussies, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Andy Hauser made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 83rd minute. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Oliverio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Maxence Durand hit a great ball. After 93 played minutes, San Pablo FC's Olo Buendia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxime Durand came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Pablo FC reached it. Maxence Durand hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Pablo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
