ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Romania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erkan Fişek was slow to take the kick. During this time ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Erkan Fişek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carol Stinga quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15th minute, Karol Kapera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egun Zapico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanda Cutov, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Olaru in the 17th minute. Adam Olaru made a great header on Romania's corner, it was just that ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico managed to reach the ball for a save. Egun Zapico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Serban in the 19th minute of play. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanda Cutov in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the game Vasile Ciumak made a throw-in which Adam Olaru played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Reis in the 32nd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şeray İhtiyar made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Boğaç Çelikoz. In the 35th minute Costica Vladimiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Zapico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estevão Reis took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carol Stinga. Carol Stinga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Egun Zapico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costica Vladimiri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egun Zapico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Olaru came free, but Egun Zapico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egun Zapico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasvan Cristescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Estevão Reis to make the kick off. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Egun Zapico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanda Cutov in the 57th minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egun Zapico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sanda Cutov's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Estevão Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevão Reis in the 63rd minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ made a substitution. Şenol Akbaba replaced Boğaç Çelikoz. Romania made a substitution. But to his dismay, Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olcay Orkun Gökekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egun Zapico made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Sanda Cutov sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carol Stinga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Stinga in the 81st minute of play forced ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's goalkeeper Egun Zapico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egun Zapico was a little too slow when Anton Stinga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 93rd minute, Mehmet Hakkı Kuthan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Romania's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ had won, even though Romania had held more of the ball.
