Maximino Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lain came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Harsh Gods's goalie and right to Wim Wilmes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Harsh Gods's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdurrahim Dengizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Ali Numan Afak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Numan Afak in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Harsh Gods's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kauan Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute of the match Harsh Gods got a corner. Netherlands's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Carlos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Harsh Gods's corner Roberto Carlos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arnout Reekers quite easily take care of the ball. In the 25th minute, Wim Wilmes made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Merexildo. Harsh Gods's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Ali Numan Afak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Tomas Lain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers. Tomas Lain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 39th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Harsh Gods's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Lars Meesters to score against Maximino Merexildo in Harsh Gods's goal. 1-2 after 39 minutes. In the 43rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Harsh Gods's Maximino Merexildo didn't even have to move. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Maximino Merexildo managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Numan Afak in the 54th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Maximino Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Through an outstanding action, after 63 minutes, Maximino Merexildo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Merexildo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Lain in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Meilutyte came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Merexildo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 72nd minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Maximino Merexildo to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Harsh Gods made a substitution. Jokūbas Miškūnas replaced Roberto Carlos. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Maximino Merexildo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Maximino Merexildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximino Merexildo. That made the score 2-5 after 86 minutes of play. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harsh Gods's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Jogaila Makauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Harsh Gods supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
