Politehnica Iasi's Emilian Feteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 14th minute of play. Politehnica Iasi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Cărtărescu in the 17th minute. The corner ended in Jorginho Queiroz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Jorginho Queiroz didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 18th minute. Politehnica Iasi's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 22nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Politehnica Iasi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. 24 minutes into the game, Tiberiu Dulgherescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Politehnica Iasi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. After a rather tough play, Politehnica Iasi's Tiberiu Dulgherescu got a free kick in the 24th minute. Emilian Feteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 26th minute of the match. At last the ball reached Takacs Tibor at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Politehnica Iasi. 1-2. Tiberiu Dulgherescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilian Feteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balazs Lajos in the 39th minute of the match. Emilian Feteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Jorginho Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Politehnica Iasi getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Tiberiu Dulgherescu hit a great ball. Emilian Feteanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 64th minute. The supporters of Politehnica Iasi booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Cărtărescu in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorginho Queiroz in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 71stth minute of the game Jorginho Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
