Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Anti Kodu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kenn Kuberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 5th minute of the match. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Skellerup FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kenn Kuberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Anti Kodu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenn Kuberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anti Kodu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Arnout Reekers when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, Anti Kodu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kenn Kuberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 32ndth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kenn Kuberg having to make a save. Skellerup FC's Vagnar Halckendorff quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 36th minute of the game. The corner ended in Wim Wilmes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg did a great save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Kenn Kuberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Wim Wilmes could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Kenn Kuberg however easily saved by the left post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg managed to reach the ball for a save. Skellerup FC's Vagnar Halckendorff quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 60th minute of the game. Anti Kodu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anti Kodu in the 78th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Kenn Kuberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anti Kodu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 83 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenn Kuberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 86 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenn Kuberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Kenn Kuberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner David Eikelkamp fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kenn Kuberg quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Skellerup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaël Poulin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
