Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonatan Licerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 15th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermín Trujillo in the 18th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 19th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Fermín Trujillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Ysmael Tagle got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Felipe Barreto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonatan Licerio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience cheered when Felipe Barreto's long shot passed Jonatan Licerio's right side. It was 2-1, 23 minutes into the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Bladi, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Viriato Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonatan Licerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. Dennis Hamnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Jonatan Licerio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Licerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 40th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Jonatan Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Licerio saved Big Babousa from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Felipe Barreto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonatan Licerio was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jonatan Licerio came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 58th minute Fermín Trujillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Fermín Trujillo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Fermín Trujillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermín Trujillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Portugal made a substitution.
