Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Zawaski in the 15th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cezary Kossakowski made a kick off. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliks Jazwiec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Porziano Marchitelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florian Chodzinski having to make a save. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliks Jazwiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Deodato Magliozzi hit a great ball. If Feliks Jazwiec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blaugrana Stare Tychy fans cheered their team off the field, for while Italy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
