Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marquinhos Santos. Marquinhos Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Flavio Vittori came out and tried to block the shot, but Marquinhos Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. Shi Xi Zhen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Marquinhos Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Albano Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sigfrido Auletta took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Quadros. Jarbas Quadros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Quadros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Jarbas Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Marquinhos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. PREZULO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarbas Quadros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. Jarbas Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jarbas Quadros. Jarbas Quadros yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. A collision led to PREZULO FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Shi Xi Zhen hit a great ball. Gianpaolo Mascari made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Zaccheo Andolina however managed to control. 77 minutes into the match, PREZULO FC's goalkeeper Jarbas Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. The corner went over the outstretched arms of PREZULO FC's goalie and right to Siricio Liotta. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. PREZULO FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Ferreira in the 91st minute of the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Ferreira in the 93rd minute of play. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. After a rather tough play, Italy's Gomberto Picozzi got a free kick in the 96th minute. Shi Xi Zhen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Vittori. Italy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The PREZULO FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
