In the 35th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniël Isla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël Isla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's Daniël Isla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Bladi was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Bladi in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of play forced αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ's goalkeeper Daniël Isla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Daniël Isla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 93 minutes, Rodriguinho Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than αѕαɗо γ ςαвεʀηετ.
