Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Patrik Zachrisson made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. After 4 minutes of play, France's Frank Peletier made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Dahlbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! When David Barbier came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Barbier couldn't finish the play. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andre Agassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to MAFFIAN getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Greger Broberg hit a great ball. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Alf Säfström made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of France booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Frisk didn't get a good kick on the ball. France's David Barbier couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MAFFIAN. 27 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Agassi succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-1 in the 41st playminute. Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere.

The wind increased when Andre Agassi made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Östen Vennersten replaced Börje Frisk. Pete Sampras scored 3-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andre Agassi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the game Stig-Arne Skålberg made a throw-in which Östen Vennersten played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Peletier in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Dahlbom saved MAFFIAN from getting behind. The France fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when France's Frank Peletier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game Andre Agassi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mats Wilander was slow to take the kick. During this time MAFFIAN's players had a chance to rest. The corner led MAFFIAN's Mats Wilander to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 80th play minutes Pete Sampras shot 4-4, a short shot which went by Maxime Durand and just under the crossbar into goal. Östen Vennersten made in the 86th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alex Vallin however managed to control. 88 minutes into the game, Camille Baume cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-5. Aron Dahlbom was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Alex Vallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Vallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. France's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
