An unexpectedly hard shot by Hegedus Henrik in the 14th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Álvarez's goalkeeper Apolo Munio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Álvarez's goal looked a bit too open when Balazs Lajos came free, but Apolo Munio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Deportivo Álvarez's Apolo Munio. Apolo Munio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Major Barna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Munio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Habeeb Shevchenko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apolo Munio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Adrian Lohitzun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 42nd minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Munio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Habeeb Shevchenko fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Álvarez's protests and gave Habeeb Shevchenko a yellow card for diving instead. Hungary made a substitution. Balogh Bela replaced Katona Janos. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Apolo Munio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After 56 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Major Barna. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Munio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habeeb Shevchenko to maneuver through the defense. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Lohitzun succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-5. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Ángel Hvalica in the 80th minute of play. Adrian Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Lohitzun came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balazs Lajos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Apolo Munio made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Club Deportivo Álvarez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Can Ocakçı to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Adrian Lohitzun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
