Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Lamczyk in the 52nd minute of play. Sigfrido Auletta kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natã de Medeiros in the 65th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Siricio Liotta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 92 minutes, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Curto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blas Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Curto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Italy's Adriano Curto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Acade.
