NAPOLI's Achille Albanesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Árpád Balogh in the 6th minute of play. Älvsjö AIK were furious when Marcus Albohm was red carded, 12 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Älvsjö AIK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! If Dennis Di Federico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alvin Hellkvist hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Dennis Di Federico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Älvsjö AIK's Georg Classon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Árpád Balogh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Älvsjö AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Árpád Balogh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. S.S.C. NAPOLI's Achille Albanesi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Ensar Usbey in the 25th minute of play. Georg Classon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvaro Lupi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Georg Classon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Lupi's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. When Fulvio Muzzolon came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the S.S.C. NAPOLI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulvio Muzzolon couldn't finish the play. Georg Classon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulvio Grande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Dennis Di Federico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Classon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Árpád Balogh made a kick off. Dennis Di Federico struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Georg Classon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.S.C. NAPOLI. In the 60th match minute, Älvsjö AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Ensar Usbey to maneuver through the defense. Älvsjö AIK's Georg Classon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Älvsjö AIK from getting a goal against them. 66 minutes into the match, Älvsjö AIK's goalkeeper Georg Classon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Lupi. 69 minutes into the match, Älvsjö AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Fulvio Muzzolon came free, but Georg Classon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute Fulvio Grande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Classon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 76 played minutes S.S.C. NAPOLI got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Lupi. Alvaro Lupi kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes in the game Martin Österlund did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Michel Dijkman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Árpád Balogh in the 82nd minute of play forced S.S.C. NAPOLI's goalkeeper Achille Albanesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alvaro Lupi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georg Classon. That made the score 1-3 in the 85 minute of play. Älvsjö AIK's Georg Classon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Bassani in the 94th minute of play. S.S.C. NAPOLI played a much better game than Älvsjö AIK and deserved their victory. The Älvsjö AIK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
