Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Buzoianu got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Tudorică came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A hard shot 9 in the game by George Buzoianu from a close distance when the talented Victor Negara managed to make a qualified save. Rovine Craiova's players were relieved. After taking down the ball on Rovine Craiova's corner Marcu Vârjean fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zsigmond Pál quite easily take care of the ball. Victor Negara made an important save on a dangerous shot by George Buzoianu in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute, George Buzoianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Manole Frunză came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zsigmond Pál showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Frunză, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Zsigmond Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 29th minute of play. Zsigmond Pál took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyrki Saarelainen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of F.C. Baia Mare -MM- booed when Rovine Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Tudorică didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Buzoianu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Negara having to make a save. Victor Negara made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when George Buzoianu sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Buzoianu got free with Victor Negara in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manole Frunză in the 41st minute of play. Zsigmond Pál showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jyrki Saarelainen in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jyrki Saarelainen to make the kick off. Victor Negara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Buzoianu in the 51st minute of the match. After 52 minutes Rovine Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was George Buzoianu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that George Buzoianu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Victor Negara quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Jyrki Saarelainen came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Rovine Craiova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jyrki Saarelainen couldn't finish the play. Manuel Bobailă hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, George Buzoianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but George Buzoianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Negara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zsigmond Pál showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Tudorică in the 57th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes Rovine Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Tudorică. Octavian Podgoreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál got control of the ball when Jyrki Saarelainen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rovine Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manole Frunză was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Buzoianu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Negara having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Octavian Podgoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Manole Frunză's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zsigmond Pál was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
