In the 35th minute of the match, Florin Stancu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marian Văduvescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Stancu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marian Văduvescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marian Văduvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Stancu went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Alex Isaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Steaua Pildesti's Zygmunt Dunajski pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Kuszczak during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Steaua Pildesti made a substitution. Isac Gligor had in the 82ndth minute some difficulties stopping Nicolae Barbu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 4-1 came in the 82nd minute when Nicolae Barbu all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Isac Gligor. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Muget's Florin Stancu. But to his dismay, Florin Stancu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1.
