After 4 minutes of play, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Mihnea Iosub made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihai Bogdănescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihnea Iosub scored 0-2 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihai Bogdănescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mihnea Iosub in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihai Bogdănescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Mihnea Iosub had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Mihnea Iosub made a precise shot to the right of Mihai Bogdănescu. Poli Iași's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Hector Morientes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Mihnea Iosub got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mihnea Iosub came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ninjas in Pyjamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mihnea Iosub couldn't finish the play. Mihai Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihnea Iosub went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Mihai Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihnea Iosub's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Anton Cucerdean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Mihai Bogdănescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 36 minutes into the game, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Andrei Cosor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihai Bogdănescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. After some careless play in the Poli Iași defense, Mihnea Iosub kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihai Bogdănescu. The Poli Iași fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihai Bogdănescu should have stopped the shot. In the 42nd minute, one of Poli Iași:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Poli Iași. The referee gave Ninjas in Pyjamas a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rareș Tatulici, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Poli Iași's Mihai Bogdănescu. 0-8. In the 48th minute, Mihnea Iosub ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihai Bogdănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Disappointed in the 0-9 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Remus Nuțu made the kick off in the second half. Poli Iași's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Mihnea Iosub scored to the left of an out of position Mihai Bogdănescu, making the score, 0-10. Mihai Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Iosub, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Mihai Bogdănescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihnea Iosub showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 64 minute of play. Mihai Bogdănescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mihnea Iosub went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. Mihai Bogdănescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes in the game, Anton Cucerdean fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mihai Bogdănescu having to interfere. Fabian Papaiani got a throw-in 81 minutes in the game and the ball was received by George Baldu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Iosub in the 90th minute of play forced Poli Iași's goalkeeper Mihai Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihnea Iosub blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mihai Bogdănescu having to make a save. Mihai Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Iosub, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
