One of FC Steaua Pildesti:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ninjas in Pyjamas:s goal. The referee gave Ninjas in Pyjamas a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rareș Tatulici, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Anton Cucerdean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucian Stere's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cai Yue Guang was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zygmunt Dunajski was the one to do the kick off. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rareș Tatulici in the 58th minute. After taking down the ball on Ninjas in Pyjamas's corner Andrei Cosor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marian Văduvescu quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute, Mihnea Iosub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Mihnea Iosub sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marian Văduvescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Iosub in the 79th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Anton Cucerdean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marian Văduvescu.
