The corner led Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Cristian Gallo to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicu Timofte despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 10 in the game by Remus Nuțu from a close distance when the talented Jalmari Mikkonen managed to make a qualified save. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Ali Nurettin put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nicu Timofte. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ali Nurettin sped through Poli Iași's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicu Timofte. Nicu Timofte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nurettin in the 23rd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Ali Nurettin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nicu Timofte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petruț Mircescu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicu Timofte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Poli Iași defense, Ali Nurettin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicu Timofte. The Poli Iași fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicu Timofte should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Ali Nurettin notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Poli Iași's Nicu Timofte. Nicu Timofte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Isac Zub got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergiu Gherguț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jalmari Mikkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Nurettin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicu Timofte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Poli Iași's zone, Ali Nurettin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicu Timofte came out of the goal and Ali Nurettin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Matt De Ligt got a free kick in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ali Nurettin made a kick off. Ionel Burileanu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Petruț Mircescu notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Poli Iași's Nicu Timofte. Nicu Timofte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicu Timofte was a little too slow when Ali Nurettin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience was convinced that Ali Nurettin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicu Timofte was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Nicu Timofte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Nurettin in the 68th minute of the match. Irinel Onișoru kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Ali Nurettin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Nurettin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicu Timofte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicu Timofte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petruț Mircescu went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After having played for 76 minutes, Ali Nurettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nurettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Timofte was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th play minute Ali Nurettin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicu Timofte. 0-10. 88 minutes into the match, Ali Nurettin notched a goal, 0-11, to the right of Poli Iași's Nicu Timofte. Nicu Timofte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute Isac Zub suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Irinel Onișoru fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poli Iași's protests and gave Irinel Onișoru a yellow card for diving instead. Irinel Onișoru kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Romeo Vlas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicu Timofte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Ali Nurettin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Timofte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-12. Pinner Cluj-Napoca played a much better game than Poli Iași and deserved their victory. The Poli Iași players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
