Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Dos Reis in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zsigmond Pál prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zsigmond Pál stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Dos Reis's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 40 minutes, Zé Dos Reis made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. George Buzoianu was the one to do the kick off. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Curuțiu in the 52nd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Traian Curuțiu came free, but Zsigmond Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s Zsigmond Pál. Zsigmond Pál was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aydın Tor might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zsigmond Pál. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aydın Tor ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Dos Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zsigmond Pál having to interfere. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Aydın Tor sped through F.C. Baia Mare -MM-'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zsigmond Pál. In the 91st minute Aydın Tor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zsigmond Pál saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to F.C. Baia Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Manuel Tărbac hit a great ball.
