The goal made the score 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Taşcău recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicu Timofte. Gheorghe Taşcău showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Nicu Timofte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gheorghe Taşcău, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gheorghe Taşcău did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Nicu Timofte 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Kobra TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Cristocea to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Timofte was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gheorghe Taşcău showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 21 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kobra TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Gherguț came free, but King Junior reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gheorghe Taşcău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Remus Nuțu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but King Junior read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Kobra TEAM's Ionică Lucescu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Nicu Timofte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Taşcău in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Poli Iași was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olimpiu Florean to maneuver through the defense. Nicu Timofte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionică Lucescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gheorghe Taşcău stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Poli Iași booed when Kobra TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionică Lucescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Gheorghe Taşcău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Timofte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Timofte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Gheorghe Taşcău scored 11-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicu Timofte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Kobra TEAM's Laurențiu Butnaru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicu Timofte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. Nicu Timofte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Lucescu in the 96th minute of play. There was no doubt that Kobra TEAM were the better team. Kobra TEAM's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
