Rein Douwes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Rostow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After 17 played minutes GUTIERREZ SC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Hernandez. 19 minutes into the game, GUTIERREZ SC's Abel Etor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hampus Albohm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rein Douwes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rein Douwes got free with Leonard Rostow in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Pocho Lavezzi notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nolmyra FC's Hampus Albohm. Hampus Albohm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Rostow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Douwes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in GUTIERREZ SC's zone, Rein Douwes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonard Rostow came out of the goal and Rein Douwes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of GUTIERREZ SC booed when Nolmyra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orvar Hedlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hampus Albohm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute.
