Evaristo Mark hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Totakoxe. 25 minutes into the game, one of Atletic Elooo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Slovakia a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pavol Koleno, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atletic Elooo's Hilario Nalo. 0-1. Hilario Nalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zigmund Maliar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Martxel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The supporters of Atletic Elooo booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Havel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Celio got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Emiliano Tohias. Hilario Nalo made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Metod Mlynar sent off a good shot on target. If Emiliano Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Stefan Havel charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stefan Havel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Metod Mlynar scored 0-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilario Nalo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 92nd minute Remigio Totakoxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slovakia's Vavrinec Koleno quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gilberto Celio, made in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Slovakia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
