If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jago Urquijo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Tallia Incera might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tallia Incera ran back to his position shaking his head. 8 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tallia Incera came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, C.A. Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kajar Indrekson to maneuver through the defense. C.A. Husky's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nabar Zafrilla in the 31st minute. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tallia Incera in the 38th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Gonçalo Caires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Husky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Caires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tallia Incera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Marcos Azofra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mathijn Doctor hit a great ball. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jago Urquijo having to interfere. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Nabar Zafrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 62nd minute, which Jago Urquijo however easily saved by the left post. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jago Urquijo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jago Urquijo was a little too slow when Wim Wilmes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-1. Jago Urquijo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Tallia Incera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Husky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tallia Incera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
