Martin Crețu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Crețu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Morovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurel Panait in the 72nd minute of the match. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Martin Crețu in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stiinta-Univ.'s Martin Crețu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after Stiinta-Univ.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. 89 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Crețu. Stiinta-Univ.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Eikelkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Shi Ming Sheng kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stiinta-Univ.'s goalkeeper Martin Crețu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
