But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by 罗斐谦 in the 20th minute. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 23rd minute of play. Christian Abbiati showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christian Abbiati. KANONIERZY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edward Vanderstraeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 31st match minute, Belgium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Dermaut to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of KANONIERZY booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sander Dermaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 36th minute of the match. After 40 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Abbiati was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 43 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. KANONIERZY's 罗斐谦 got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 罗斐谦 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. After the first half Belgium were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goalkeeper Christian Abbiati had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Christian Abbiati to make any attempt to save it. Christian Abbiati made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-7 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Abbiati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
