Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimiro Leão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Hendrik Saarberg in the 3rd minute of play. Vladimiro Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 6th minute of the match. Vladimiro Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatien Bidart in the 34th minute of play. Jan Hendrik Saarberg had several of the Hungary's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Fodor Daniel as he didn't even see the shot coming. A well done corner resulted in Takacs Tibor drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Internacional de Lisboa's goalkeeper. If Jan Hendrik Saarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute of play forced Internacional de Lisboa's goalkeeper Vladimiro Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Alves struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacional de Lisboa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Vladimiro Leão in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Internacional de Lisboa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Hungary for a fine match.
