After a defensive mix-up in Pretorianos FC's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Idacio came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tostão Ceresso in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt got a free kick in the 19th minute. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Artaldo in the 20th minute of play. Matias Txaran kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 25th minute of play. Marciano Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 29th minute of play. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. If Santos Lauren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Artaldo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Txaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Lauren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Marciano Idacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio got control of the ball when David Eikelkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Santos Lauren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marciano Idacio made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. When Santos Lauren fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pretorianos FC's protests and gave Santos Lauren a yellow card for diving instead. After 92 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Lauren. Pretorianos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
