Fabio Auer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Fighting Mongooses FC. In the 14th minute Jonas Nalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to The Fighting Mongooses FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Milosz Derlanga hit a great ball. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Florian Siembab sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes, Eugeniusz Mnich mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Fighting Mongooses FC and the Austria players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Eugeniusz Mnich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Siembab could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. Fabio Auer made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Antoni Pstrongowski sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to The Fighting Mongooses FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Aureliusz Solak hit a great ball. Fabio Auer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoni Pstrongowski went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristoforo Tarulli was the one to do the kick off. Eugeniusz Mnich hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. When Cristoforo Tarulli came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the The Fighting Mongooses FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristoforo Tarulli couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Cristoforo Tarulli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Milosz Derlanga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Nalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstanty Witek in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Grzegorz Moizuk got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabio Auer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aureliusz Solak made in the 71st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Konstanty Witek immediately put the ball in play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristoforo Tarulli in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Auer saved Austria from getting behind. Fabio Auer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristoforo Tarulli in the 79th minute of play. Aureliusz Solak made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Konstanty Witek however managed to control. Florian Siembab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Fighting Mongooses FC had played much better football throughout.
