Sten Dum got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 4-0 in the right cross in the 44th match minute before Tommy Kahn had time to react. If Ionuț Mincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sten Dum was the one to do the kick off. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Vincent Traks made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elliott Bergman. In the 55th minute, Alfred Markowski had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Sachs during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Birger Vikström was substituted for Alfred Markowski. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Dum took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 82 minutes into the match, Sten Dum had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Dum was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Vikström in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Sten Dum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Sten Dum made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there!
