Sten Dum could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Aaron Ramsdal in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaron Ramsdal. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's Eddie Hake got a free kick in the 64th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Dum in the 73rd minute of play. The referee ignored Elmtaryd Agunnaryd's protests and gave Ralf Smedfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Vikström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Elmtaryd Agunnaryd throughout the match.
