The crowd rose to their feet as Villaverde Celeste Clube's Roy Makaay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrick Zeier. That made the score 2-1 after 9 minutes of play. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Makaay, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tarada. Roy Makaay received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Henrick Zeier came out and tried to block the shot, but Roy Makaay slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 21st minute. Roy Makaay's late challenge caught a Tarada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Makaay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Roy Makaay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Tarada getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Serge Jeanneret hit a great ball. Henrick Zeier was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After 61 minutes of play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Guo Ao made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrick Zeier was left in no man's land by his defense there! Massimo Wechsler made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Stian Aarflot however managed to control. Henrick Zeier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Villaverde Celeste Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolai Otamendi to maneuver through the defense. When Adam Wielowiejski came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Tarada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Wielowiejski couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Villaverde Celeste Clube getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Luís Paulo Carneiro hit a great ball. Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nenko Reza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Jeanneret in the 77th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goalkeeper Nenko Reza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Wielowiejski. 85 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Wielowiejski came free, but Nenko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tarada's Oskar Gunnarsson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Villaverde Celeste Clube's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
