Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcin Mentis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Grzegorz Czapski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Wittbach SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bentkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Motowski in the 33rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Grzegorz Czapski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Grzegorz Czapski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Grzegorz Motowski was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Aarre Rautee's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 52nd minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Grzegorz Czapski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Grzegorz Motowski sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grzegorz Czapski having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 63rd minute of play forced Wittbach SSA's goalkeeper Grzegorz Czapski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Wittbach SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Grzegorz Czapski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lars Meesters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Czapski was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Mentis in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Czapski was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Grzegorz Czapski in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Czapski came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Lars Meesters hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Netherlands eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
