Toke Herrig came out of the goal and David Barbier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toke Herrig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the game, France's Frank Peletier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Toke Herrig made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Camille Baume left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The France fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Toke Herrig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of France booed when O-TT-O was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Søndermølle didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Bruneau. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. After a rather tough play, O-TT-O's Hjalmar Bransholm got a free kick in the 51st minute. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. Toke Herrig was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Camille Baume showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. When Ronny Kamløv came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the O-TT-O fans jumped to their feet.
