Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Chris Nygaard started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Bayburtspor booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hıncal Hatırlı in the 13th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mehmet Ali Eriş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mehmet Ali Eriş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 30th minute of play. Hıncal Hatırlı took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Illés Albert's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Illés Albert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Bayburtspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Illés Albert to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute of the match Theis Winther sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mehmet Ali Eriş skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Theis Winther hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Bayburtspor's Hıncal Hatırlı. But to his dismay, Hıncal Hatırlı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hıncal Hatırlı to strike the kick off in the second half. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ensar Özakıncı in the 52nd minute of the match. Günalp Sudi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hıncal Hatırlı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Lars Steen got a free kick in the 76th minute. Mehmet Ali Eriş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chris Nygaard in the 81st minute. If Ensar Özakıncı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theis Winther made in the 89th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mikkel Wulff immediately put the ball in play. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Bayburtspor were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
