After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Berntzen in the 26th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Berntzen was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Berntzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer had several of the Λstral Villains FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
