Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. If Zé Paulo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Omar Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Hertha 1969's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Omar Toledo who took care of the corner kick. Spain's Jonathan Criado was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rune Jarstein in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rune Jarstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Toledo went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Gabriel Ascaso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gunter Waller in the 18th minute. Wilhelm Nienhaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 28th minute of play forced Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Rune Jarstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Gigel Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Hertha 1969 got a corner. Spain's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gabriel Ascaso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. Hertha 1969's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Adria Bielsa scored to the left of an out of position Rune Jarstein, making the score, 1-2. Adria Bielsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 59th minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 61st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Omar Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Rune Jarstein however easily saved by the left post. When Zé Paulo da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Hertha 1969 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Paulo da Silva couldn't finish the play. Spain's Sergio Ruiz was substituted for Adria Bielsa. In the 83rd minute, Wilhelm Nienhaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Hovermann in the 89th minute of the match. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hertha 1969 throughout the match.
