Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antal Valentin started the match with the kick off. If Emanuel Markham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Opdal having to interfere. After some careless play in the Brufoss IL defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leif Opdal. The Brufoss IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leif Opdal should have stopped the shot. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal. Leif Opdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leif Opdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 24th minute of play. Leif Opdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antal Valentin went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Leif Opdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Katona Janos kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Frode Tobiassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Emanuel Markham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Leif Opdal made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Opdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Opdal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 59th minute. Hungary's Antal Valentin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 66th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Brufoss IL made a substitution. August Bergsland replaced Frode Tobiassen. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Jakob Lode got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute August Bergsland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jan-Kenneth Heistad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Leif Opdal in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Leif Opdal made a huge save. 91 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Leif Opdal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leif Opdal. That made the score 0-5 in the 91 minute of play. Boros Benedek hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Bergsland in the 97th minute of play. 99 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hungary's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kai Østbye was slow to take the kick. During this time Brufoss IL's players had a chance to rest.
