Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a defensive mix-up in Randers A.F.C.'s zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frederik Faurbye came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frederik Faurbye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Randers A.F.C.'s Svenning Westin got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. After 15 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Ingels. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Frederik Faurbye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frederik Faurbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frederik Faurbye was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Frederik Faurbye was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wim Wilmes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 34th minute of play forced Randers A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Frederik Faurbye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 39th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 43rd match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Levysohn to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frederik Faurbye. Randers A.F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Faurbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 60th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Frederik Faurbye to make any attempt to save it. After 66 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 0-10 with a short kick to the right side. Randers A.F.C.'s Frederik Faurbye tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frederik Faurbye was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Gijsbert ter Kruimer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer really showed his touch with that goal: 0-11. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frederik Faurbye breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Faurbye made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Frederik Faurbye didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederik Faurbye. Frederik Faurbye dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. After 85 minutes, Kristofer Mark mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Randers A.F.C. and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kristofer Mark kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Faurbye came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Faurbye having to interfere. Frederik Faurbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 95th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 97th minute. Netherlands's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Randers A.F.C. throughout the match.
