With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adria Bielsa in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Banaszak saved Valencia CF Mindszent from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Valencia CF Mindszent's Jan-Åke Hedlund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Åke Hedlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Hedlund came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Hedlund took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gabriel Ascaso. Gabriel Ascaso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1.
