Fulgencio Eyague made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Gregorio Montez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague got control of the ball when Gregorio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Russówek's attentive Marek Pliszka managed to snatch the ball when Modesto Jaunzuria made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. 31 minutes into the match, Russówek's goal looked a bit too open when Hermenegildo Ventura came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peep Pronk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gregorio Montez got free with Fulgencio Eyague in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermenegildo Ventura in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peep Pronk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gregorio Montez in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Eyague saved AC LeX Luthor from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Gregorio Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AC LeX Luthor's Rodion Nikitin was substituted for Hermenegildo Ventura. In the 62nd minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Montez in the 67th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Russówek supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AC LeX Luthor's performance. The match ended with a win for AC LeX Luthor.
