In the 88th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfo Grau. The goal made the score 4-3. Adolfo Grau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 92nd minute of play. After 93 minutes Brujas KV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Adolfo Grau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Brujas KV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
