Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Robin Boelens made the kick off which started today's match. After 2 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. If Dolf Schoonderwoerd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Piearres Olalla. Porziano Marchitelli scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan Wessel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dolf Schoonderwoerd got free with Flavio Vittori in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Vittori was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dolf Schoonderwoerd showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Wessel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Sigfrido Auletta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Wessel. The Underdogs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigfrido Auletta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 played minutes The Underdogs got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Arixo. After a defensive mix-up in The Underdogs's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Wessel came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sigfrido Auletta took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Wessel. Jan Wessel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 39th minute, Iustin Hațegan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jan Wessel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When The Underdogs's Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal.

Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Jan Wessel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, The Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jan Wessel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Wessel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dolf Schoonderwoerd in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavio Vittori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piearres Olalla's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Jan Wessel made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli sent off a good shot on target. Frank de Boer got a throw-in 71 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Dolf Schoonderwoerd. In the 72nd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sigfrido Auletta in the 73rd minute. Deodato Magliozzi made a great header on Italy's corner, it was just that The Underdogs's Jan Wessel managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sigfrido Auletta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jan Wessel. That made the score 1-4 in the 76 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Wessel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piearres Olalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. In the 86th minute The Underdogs were awarded a corner. Ed Palsma went to the cornerflag to take it. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 90th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Underdogs defense, Adriano Curto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Wessel. The The Underdogs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Wessel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
