After 14 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jose Boldu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Zoil Pequeño got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-1. 37 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zoil Pequeño. 39 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jose Boldu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 40th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo ScrugenFC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Leobardo Padierna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Leobardo Padierna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Jose Boldu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 90th minute. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leobardo Padierna in the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo ScrugenFC.
